About kickWAX
kickWAX is a decentralized crowdfunding platform built on the WAX blockchain. Everything runs on smart contracts — transparent, on-chain, no middlemen, no fees.
For Proposers
Have a project idea? Submit a proposal with your project name, description, funding goal, and campaign duration (minimum 7 days). To prove commitment and get ranked in the listings, you lock in a refundable deposit of at least 1111 WAX.
Your deposit is always returned to you in full — whether your campaign succeeds or fails. Once the deadline passes:
- Goal met: Claim 100% of all raised funds. Then claim your deposit back separately.
- Goal not met: Backers get their stakes refunded. You claim your full deposit back.
While your campaign is live you can edit the name and description at any time.
For Backers
Browse active proposals and stake any amount of WAX into the ones you want to support. Your stake is locked in the contract until the deadline.
- Campaign succeeds: Your stake goes to the creator. You backed a winner.
- Campaign fails: Come back after the deadline and withdraw your full stake as a refund.
After a campaign ends you can also send a tip to any proposal — a non-refundable show of appreciation regardless of outcome.
