kickWAX is a decentralized crowdfunding platform built on the WAX blockchain. Creators pitch their project ideas and crowdsource funding from supporters in their token of choice. Everything runs on smart contracts — transparent, secure, no middlemen.
HOW IT WORKS
Proposals are submitted with a funding goal, campaign duration, and a refundable RANK POWER of at least 100 WAX as proof of commitment. Higher RANK POWER = higher listing rank.
Supporters stake the proposal's chosen token before the deadline. Funds are locked in the contract until the campaign ends.
If the goal is reached by the deadline, the proposer claims 97% of raised funds (3% platform fee). Supporters' stakes go to the creator.
If the goal is not reached, supporters withdraw their stakes. The proposer reclaims their full deposit regardless of outcome.

About kickWAX
kickWAX is a decentralized crowdfunding platform built on the WAX blockchain. Everything runs on smart contracts — transparent, on-chain, no middlemen.
For Proposers
Have a project idea? Submit a proposal with your project name, description, funding goal, and campaign duration (minimum 1 day). To prove commitment and get ranked in the listings, you lock in a refundable RANK POWER of at least 100 WAX. The higher your RANK POWER, the higher you appear in listings.
Your RANK POWER is always returned to you in full — whether your campaign succeeds or fails. Once the deadline passes:
- Goal met: Claim 97% of all raised funds (3% platform fee). Then claim your RANK POWER back separately.
- Goal not met: Backers get their stakes refunded. You claim your full RANK POWER back.
While your campaign is live, you can update the following at any time: name, description, body text, header image, and color theme. RANK POWER can also be increased at any time, but never decreased.
The following are locked once a proposal is published and cannot be changed: funding goal, campaign duration, funding token, and NFT rewards.
For Backers
Browse active proposals and stake the proposal's chosen funding token into the ones you want to support. Your stake is locked in the contract until the deadline.
- Campaign succeeds: 97% of your stake goes to the creator (3% platform fee). You backed a winner.
- Campaign fails: Come back after the deadline and withdraw your full stake as a refund.
After a campaign ends you can also send a tip to any proposal — a non-refundable show of appreciation regardless of outcome.
Key Rules
- Minimum RANK POWER to create a proposal: 100 WAX
- Minimum campaign duration: 1 day
- Platform fee: 3%. The proposer receives 97% of raised funds; 3% goes to kickWAX.
- All activity is on-chain and publicly verifiable
Supported Funding Tokens
Campaigns can be run to receive funding in many different tokens, not just WAX. The RANK POWER deposit is always paid in WAX, but the cosmetic and NFT reward unlocks are paid in ROOK. Need some $ROOK? Swap WAX to ROOK on Alcor exchange.
